l	Company background
	In June 1997, Eastern Logic Inc. was established by a group of creative and intelligent engineers in Taiwan. Eastern Logic believes that the success of a high-tech company lies on its leading position and constant breakthroughs in technology development. Moreover, we always bear this in mind that advanced technologies must be realized in applications widely used in our daily life. Hence, Eastern Logic has been focusing on PC-based controller since its establishment. We have introduced a wide variety of new technologies to many industrial applications, aiming to accelerate the development pace of production automation.
l	PC-based Technology
	Taiwan's machinery industry has a strong infrastructure, coupled by the flourishing development in the PC and semiconductor industries. As a result, Taiwan PC-based controller industry has a great opportunity to top the world's controller market. However, it is difficult to apply PC-based solutions in industrial machines. The key is a well-designed software that can enable PC-based controllers to replace conventional ones. One main feature of PC-based controllers is to simulate the functions of conventional industrial controllers. More important, they can fully utilize the abundant hardware and software resources of the PC industry. For example, PC-based solutions can provide networking capability and high-resolution management screen, plus the well-known CAD/CAM software on the market. Eastern Logic uses the most user-friendly PC platform to integrate all hardware and software devices. In addition, we have introduced related system drivers to bring PC-based controllers into full play.
